Hi everyone! What is your favourite fruit? Mine is definitely banana, berries and roasted apples!  Yesterday my grandpa gave us a lot of small apples from his and granny's garden. They are quite sour, but they are so aromatic! So, I created a really delicious thing - roasted apples with cinnamon and brown sugar☺Perfect for apple pie, toasts, sandwiches, pancakes and rice. I love the spicy scent of cinnamon and warmth of baked apples with wrinkled skin! My granny also loves apples☺She usually streaks the apples, mix with cinnamon, lemon juice and sugar and make a really yummy jam, perfect for her signature apple pie! Granny makes the apple pie using wheat flour, but she and I are thinking about making a gluten free version, so stay tuned☺ Today my auntie has brought us a freshly baked apple pie from my granny. What a pity I can't eat it. But I'm happy my mum, dad and brother can enjoy it! I can eat only processed apples. Raw ones are very harmful for my bowel. I hope you can...

Cheesy mashed potatoes for ill tummy

Hi guys! Have you ever heard about potato diet? This is a special medical diet used in gastrointestinal diseases, chronic renal failure and  in low protein diet. The base of this diet are potatoes in a lot of forms - cooked, puree, chips, baked potatoes, jacket potatoes etc.  Potatoes are a great source of potassium and are really healthy! They are easily digestible and they can help in digestive problems. When we cool down the potatoes, they contain bigger amount of resistant starch, which isn't digested in the intestines and becomes a a kind of prebiotic - foodie for good bacteria inhabiting our guts. What about you? What is your favorite potatoe dish? Write in comments:) Mine is definitely potato pur é e! Creamy rice with banana purée and chocolate

Hi everyone! Have you ever eaten 'rice on milk'? In my country it's quite popular dish. When I was little, my mum used to make rice with cow's milk for breakfast and it was one of my favourite meals before school. Now, I can't eat lactose, so I mustn't use normal milk and I have to replace it with lactose free dairy products (occasionally) or base on plant based drink (very often). When you prepare 'the rice on milk' using plant based or lactose free cream instead of using the cow's one, you can easily make gut friendly version of this yummy meal. Today I'm going to show you a recipe for a meal which I usually eat in exacerbation. It's creamy rice with banana purée and a little bit of chocolate!  My rice pudding is creamy and rich in taste. Not vegan, but free from lactose, gluten and low fodmap, tasty, very delicate and easy to digest. Perfect for slow breakie, supper or a tea:)  I'm sorry that I didn't give the exact proportions, bu...

Lavender muffins from BezBez.pl

Hi everyone! Today I'm going to show you the result of my yesterday's baking:) I've used the recipe from BezBez.pl for vegan banana bread with chocolate.  Here  you can find the original chocolate cake recipe. I've made the muffins from a half of ingredients and I've received six delicious, soft and cute chocolate muffins, perfect with a cup of aromatic green tea. I've replaced soy yoghurt with mango flavor coconut one. I also didn't have vanilla pudding powder, so I used more potato starch and added orange extract instead of the almond one. A lot of changes, but it was definitely worth it! The muffins don't contain any gluten, eggs and dairy, so they are great for allergic people, vegans and people with coeliac disease, IBS or any other inflammatory bowel diseases. I hope you will enjoy them! For more information go to BezBez.pl . It's not my own recipe and I don't think so that rewriting the original recipe is fair. I'm just not going to ap...
